When you decide to hire me for your project, I’ll send you a contract to sign, and invoice you for the first part of the payment.
You pay me a deposit (approximately 50% of the fee or a $100.00 – $150.00 down payment on a larger edit) up front (via Paypal or mail me a check/money order), and send me the novel in .docx, .doc, .pages, or .rtf format.
[If your payment comes via check/money order, I will wait to start the edits until it has arrived.]
I complete the edits, return the manuscript document, and invoice you for the remainder of the fee.
OPTIONAL:
You can send me a sample of your work that’s 1,500 – 2,000 words, and I will proofread it/copy edit/line edit—whichever service you’re requesting—to help you decide whether you like my work well enough to hire me for the whole project.
